Peptido is a local studio on ul. Piękna in Warsaw, founded in 2019, that designs and delivers made-to-measure work for clients who want the job done once and done right. We handle discovery, planning, execution, and follow-up in-house. Every project ships with a written scope, a fixed timeline, and a named person you can call.
What does Peptido actually do day-to-day?
We work with clients who've usually tried the cheap route first and want a grown-up second attempt. Most weeks we're juggling three to five active projects. Small team, tight focus.
A typical week looks like this: Monday intake calls, Tuesday and Wednesday on production, Thursday client review, Friday revisions and dispatch. We cap our active load at five projects so nothing sits in a queue for two weeks waiting on us. If we can't start you within 14 days, we'll say so on the first call.
Last month a client named Marta, 41, came to us on a Tuesday after a previous provider ghosted her mid-project. We had a scoped plan by Friday and delivered the finished work 19 days later for 4,200 PLN. That's the pace we aim for. Not every week hits it, but that's the target. You can read more about our approach behind the scenes if you want the longer version.
What standards do we actually hold ourselves to?
Most shops say "quality" and mean nothing by it. We mean specific things, and we write them down. According to Google's own Search Quality guidelines, demonstrable experience and accuracy are what separate trustworthy providers from filler [1]. So here's what we commit to on every job:
- We respond to every inquiry within one business day, and if we can't take the job we tell you who can.
- We give a fixed price before work starts, not a "starting from" figure that balloons at invoice time.
- We use written scopes so nobody argues later about what was included.
- We photograph or document the finished work and send you a copy for your records.
- We warranty our work for 12 months on materials and workmanship we controlled.
- We keep a client file for seven years so we can help you again without starting from zero.
Is that a lot to promise? Yes. That's the point.
How does Peptido compare to the usual options?
Clients usually weigh us against two other paths: the cheapest freelancer they can find, or a large agency with a sales team. Here's the honest breakdown.
| Option | Typical cost | Turnaround | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheapest freelancer | 800-1,500 PLN | 2-6 weeks, variable | One-off small jobs, low stakes |
| Large agency | 12,000+ PLN | 6-10 weeks | Enterprise budgets, committee approval |
| Peptido | 3,000-8,000 PLN | 2-4 weeks | Owners who want senior work without agency overhead |
Actually, one correction to conventional wisdom: people assume the agency is the safest bet because it's the most expensive. It isn't. The agency assigns your job to whichever junior is free that week. When you hire us, you get the same two people from kickoff to handover. That continuity is the thing you're actually paying for. If you want a framework for vetting anyone in this space, the questions worth asking a partner is a good place to start.
Why should you pick a local provider at all?
Local means we can meet in person when a project needs it. It also means we're accountable inside the same city — reputation travels fast here. Consumer research consistently shows that trust and proximity outweigh raw price when people choose service providers [2]. Try this: ask any provider for two references from clients within 5 km of your address. If they can't produce them, keep looking.
FAQ
Where is Peptido located and what's your service area?
Our studio is on ul. Piękna in central Warsaw. We work primarily across Warsaw and the surrounding voivodeship, and we take remote projects nationwide when the scope allows. On-site work outside the city carries a small travel fee, quoted transparently before we start.
How much does a typical project cost?
Most projects land between 3,000 and 8,000 PLN, depending on scope and timeline. We give a fixed quote after the discovery call, not an hourly estimate. If your project is smaller than 3,000 PLN, we'll say so honestly and sometimes refer you to a freelancer we trust.
How quickly can you start?
Usually within 10 to 14 days of the signed scope. We cap our active workload at five projects so we don't overpromise. If we're booked out further, we tell you on the first call rather than stringing you along for a week.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Twelve months on any materials and workmanship we controlled directly. If something we did fails inside that window, we fix it at no charge. Read the full terms in our welcome guide.
