The practice
A compounding benchin Bogotá, and one vetwho signs off on it
Peptido started because a labrador called Milo could not get up the stairs and the options were an anti-inflammatory or nothing.

Dra. Valentina Ocampo, MV
Valentina graduated in veterinary medicine from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2014 and spent ten years in small-animal rehabilitation — the room where owners find out that the surgery went well and the dog still will not walk.
Peptides came into that room slowly: a tendon that knitted faster, a cat that started eating again. She began compounding protocols herself in 2019 because the alternative was importing grey-market vials with no assay and no dosing card.
She reviews every consult that comes through Peptido. Not a team — her.
“We would rather lose the salethan send a vial to ananimal we haven’t assessed.”
What we hold to
Four rules that decide what we compound, what we refuse, and what goes in the box.
- 01

We assess before we compound
No protocol leaves the bench for an animal we have not reviewed — weight, bloodwork, current medication, the lot.
- 02

One molecule at a time
We would rather run BPC-157 alone and watch it work than stack four peptides and learn nothing about any of them.
- 03

The dose is written down
Every box ships with a printed card: molecule, volume, schedule, and the date the cycle should stop.
- 04

We say no in writing
When peptides are the wrong answer we send you back to your clinic with the reason spelled out, not a refund code.
The practice in figures
00 - First protocol compounded on our own bench
00 - Molecules we work with — and only three
0 h0 h - Outer limit for delivery anywhere in Colombia
0%0% - Consults read personally by the vet
Weighed, reconstituted, labelled, logged
Lyophilised peptide arrives assayed. It is weighed on an analytical balance, reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, drawn into amber vials and labelled with the animal’s name — not a batch code you have to decode.
Every vial is logged against the consult that produced it. If you call the 24-hour line at eleven at night, whoever answers can find your dog’s protocol.
